Since the day Japan was hit by a devastating Earthquake and a Tsunami on 11th March 2011, President of the Sayuri International, Mr Saman Priyankara has been engaged in numerous supportive activities to the affected people of Japan. Distribution of food and other necessary items among  affected people in Fukushima prefecture is one of such events. This series of events were supported by several other Sri Lankan dignities living in Japan too.

 Mr.Saman extended his fullest support to the events organised by the Sri Lanka mission in Japan to help the affected people. Following is a letter of appreciation received by him from honorable ambassador of Sri Lanka to Japan, Admiral(Rtd) Wasantha Karannagoda.
